Subject: new to triathalons

Hi. Im Jorge, in Florida ( USA ). I am 43, as well. I've always talked about doing a triathalon and finally have decided to make it happen. I haven't competed in one yet. I have never joined a site or posted anything so this is new and weird to me. I used to be an athlete and in pretty good shape. After I stopped, I gained a lot of weight and trying to get back to healthy. Would be cool to have people to talk to, going through same thing. Can use all the help and advise I can get. Looking forward to it!

Hi Jorge! Welcome to BT and triathlons! Lots of people here with experience with tris and weight loss ... check out our Mentor Groups, several are still open and they're great.
