I hope that you get to keep the points and miles.  Could come in handy for the Iceland Excursion!

In other news, poutine has official jumped the shark.  They are opening a poutine place in Disney.

Gooooo Adam, Lisa and TJ!!

Happy Birthdays Eric and TJ!

Heal up DL'ers!

I am avoiding the DL by listening to my body this week.  Having one of those fatigue weeks where every workout is a struggle, so I am taking an extra rest day today.  Sometimes life just gets in the way of training!  I hope everyone else is having a great Friday; happy weekend!

ETA: I have no idea why Goooo is linking to a broken FB link.... and I can't get rid of it....

Awman, the DL is again longer than the racer list

I hope all those participating in events have great ones. And all those on the DL feel better soon!

Happy Birthday Eric and TJ!

I edited the racers post so that there are some dashes to prevent the linking thing.  How annoying!  I totally blame the MIA Manatees for that one!

I dunno.  It's not like the poutine place is going to be in Canada in Epcot...  We'll send Chris to Disney Springs to check it out and make sure that he survives to report back ;-)

I am skeptical. I'd be willing to hear reports ... there are devotees who will swear that poutine MUST be made with cheese curds - not shredded cheese or it is not poutine. I am sure it could be passed of but even i just don't take Canadian to be enough.

I do enjoy poutine but I don't come from its rightful birth place - Quebec. However, when I did Mont Tremblant I was NOT falling for Smoke's Poutine (which I do like) which is just a stone's throw from the finish line. While it's fine I was in Quebec where you go to a proper Casse-Croute and get poutine - NOT from a chain from Toronto, of all places ... okay. I got that off my chest

I was wondering where in WDW it would go and the only place that made sense was EPCOT. We are scheduled to be in WDW in December, so the report will have to wait a while. Christmas in the campground ride again. We are bringing friends this year.

Oh I agree. Squeaky cheese is a MUST. Unfortunately they seem to miss that point here in the US. And don't get me started on fries smothered in gravy and called poutine.

Thanks for the Happy Birthday wishes everyone. It has been crazy at work lately, so I am behind on my race report from last week, and training this week has been non-existent. I do have a question for the pod though. I came across a triathlon that says the swim is 600 meters in the water parks lazy river (2 laps). Has anyone ever done anything like that? Do you even need to swim or would the current just pull you? Do they have water cannons on the side that spectators can shoot at you? I am not going to lie, to me it kind of sounds fun, but wondered if anyone has done it?

Well, IM has put out our bike course and it's 94 miles long. Yep I'm going to be doing a 122.6. Complete BS!!!! They're saying they had a full course but the weather wiped out some of the roads, not sure I believe that, figure they're just using that to keep our money.

I've done B2B and, despite reports to the contrary, even with the current you do actually have to swim.

WTC has a course in Mexico that looks like a lazy river. That could be your goal race :-D

What's on everyone's race wish list. Fess up, now!  I can't be the only one who has a race wish list!

It'll be tough to beat that IM time...

Maybe IM Chattanooga has the right idea, more bang for your buck

Seriously, you can't worry about what's out of your control and this is definitely out of your control.
