The race is next Sunday, May 8. Yikes! Panic button. I'm glad I have a long weekend (May Day's a pubic holiday here) to get things organized. The training is in the bank; just need to stay healthy and get on top of all the logistics. I've been pretty happy with the program my coach has given me and feel like I've trained as hard as I'm capable of right now with my current body, job, etc. Just need to keep healthy and put it together.

Today--Just 2800m of swimming.

Wanted to do 2800 in the pool this morning, but struggled just to get to 1800.
A weird pain in my chest was making things difficult.

I'm at the hospital now getting it checked out.

Geez - hope you are ok!

5:30am - 5.5 mile run/walk. Legs felt pretty heavy and no energy. I'm trying to dial back my carbs and REALLY clean up my diet (even though it's pretty clean already - but little things) so know my workouts are going to be tough until I adapt.

8am - 1 hour ST

It was a cool day with a strong north wind but I went out and did 1:50 on the bike.
