Have you done Esprit De She triathlon in Naperville? If so, any tips, advice, what to expect?

I haven't done it (obviously), but I volunteered for the swimming buddy position a few years back. The water is crowded, the course will have a lot of people on it, but it's pretty flat and fast. Good organization- you'll enjoy it in all likelihood.

Don't sweat it- there's plenty of people around for support. Nobody has drowned there as far as I know. Once you get out of the water (a really short swim) the course is pretty great. I think the men you're referring to are probably the swim buddies, or maybe course marshals for USAT?

Nope, they were actually participants Only two of them, so they got the podium in male category.
