Gooooood morning BT!  Final Friday for Karen and I...aaaaaaaaah!  Another school year has come to a close.  All that's left for me this morning is locker check out for about 15 kids, my own check out and I am DONE!

4:45am:  :35 minute walk just to move

5:30am:  upper body strength + core + stretching

Heading out on the mountain bike once I leave school...can't wait!

Graduation at 6pm and summer can officially begin!

Oh, those of you new to the thread...even though I'll be on summer break I'll still be keeping the same morning schedule so the thread will still be here every morning!

Hope you have a great summer break, Kim.

6:11 - 1 sprint swim set. I misread what I had written down for the workout. Was supposed to do 10 x 50 with a goal of 40"/50. I read it as 40-50" per. My splits were very close to the 40, all 41-42, but it was a big goof. Oops.

Tomorrow is my first brick. Both excited and nervous!

Schools out, school's out, admin let the teachers out!!!!!!!

Your Friday sounds about like mine. Basically a half day of taking down some bulletin boards and checking out. Training--Got up early to do my "long run" (1:35). Normally I do it Saturday and long ride Sunday but moved everything up a day since I'm flying out on Sunday.

Heading off to bed soon. I do need to get up semi-early tomorrow so I can fit in a 2 1/2 hour ride before taking Rover to get packed up in his case, and super-early (like, seriously, 2 AM) Sunday for a 5:35 flight (ugh). After that, with the possible exception of race morning for Calgary, cannot say I will be keeping my early morning schedule. Except for Saturday morning master's at 7:30, my normal summer workouts start sometime around 10 or 11! (Even on the hottest days, it's almost always pleasant until noon or even later, so there's no need to hurry.)

Oregon--truly paradise on earth, if you don't mind the winter rain, unless you happen to be needing a teaching job.......

Day off for me before my first Sprint Tri, I am also going to be trying to keep to the mornings over the summer but I will be doing a bit of traveling for some Project Lead the Way training so I will have to juggle my training around that.

Welcome to summer, luckily around here school is usually out before or just after Memorial Day so I have been off for a while!!!

I started my morning out the same as most of them the past few months. I did my 2 minute plank while the coffee was brewing. Shortly after that I grabbed the bike and did a 12.5 mile ride. I was hoping the road construction would have been done by now on my typical route (they are repaving three roads that the bike trail crosses), but one was still tore up so and the apron for the trail was still tore up on another. So that was two stop and carry the bike across the "street"

Planning on hitting the track at the YMCA after helping my wife bring home a few larger items from her classroom. Their monthly challenge is 30 miles ran or walked in 30 days. I think I am on track (pardon the pun!) still to complete it, but I may be a few visits shy as they also require 12 visits a month for their challenges. If they count my visits to the pool they lease form the school, I should be good. If not, well...

Have a great weekend!

Well I still have another week of classes, then a week of exams, then report cards, getting kids signed up for summer school, and graduating the grade 12s. Not done till the 30th. But looking forward to the room in my schedule for more training.

8.5km run after work today, then a beer on the back patio.

I'm on the other side of the college-student desk. I'm the one with the red pen in my hand. Those of us with schedules that change from day to day actually have an advantage, I think.
