Hi,

Planning on going to Clermont for a weekend of riding. Will like to get at least 60 miles in with Sugar loaf and the three hills that I can't remember their name. Does anyone have a route you can share. I am planning to start from the lake.

Thanks!

Safe riding to all

Alicia

Alicia,

The Great Floridian used to have turn-by-turn directions for both the Full and Half distances. The half would at least get you 56 from the lake.

I used to have the directions for Challange Tri (half) race and will look around to see if I've still got them somewhere.

Another good choice is to do two laps of the GFT course. Includes both Buckhill (those pesky three hills) and Sugarloaf as well as lots of other ups and downs to get you ready for Tremblant, and keeps you off SR19. Two laps will give you the chance to refuel at Waterfront Park as well. Note this weekend SommerSports has a sprint at Waterfront (Saturday 9 July) so access will be limited Saturday AM. All the course maps are available at:

Hope that helps!

Already a cyclist and not a bad swimmer, I figured all I had to do was build up to running a few miles and I’d be ready to go. The challenge invigorated me, and I ran out to buy new running shoes.
