Bike Advice Needed - Keep Trek Madone 6.2 or sell/swap for Cervelo P2?

Sounds to me like you'd really enjoy and benefit in several ways from having a tri bike. I started racing triathlons last summer and at the time I used my road bike, a Specialized Roubaix. After two races I was hooked on the sport and could tell instantly that I'd benefit from a tri bike and I was only racing sprints at the time. Long story short, I picked up a P2 and I LOVE IT. Not only is it an awesome bike for racing, but it's really a joy to ride.

So.... I love my Roubaix for week day road and group rides and my P2 for weekend rides on longer straighter roads. The P2 is definitely much faster for several reasons even though the weight is greater and the run is much better off the P2 then off my road bike. Let me know if you have any specific questions, I'm happy to lend advice.

List it!

You already have two bikes for the same purpose. Keep the 1500 because it can take the occasional ding and dent of group rides, or if you get caught in the rain. Take the P2 out for races and solo training. Road and Tri have different set-ups, you really should have separate bikes for each set-up.
