Hoping I can convince my wife to let me get a new bike end of season. Currently on a really old cervelo p2sl (old long and low geometry) and have LOTS of spacers to get stack to where I need it. Looking at new p2 and specialized shiv. Shiv has taller stack which is prob better but is +/- 10mm stack and/or reach a big deal or can prob get a good fit on either?

Ultimately the important thing is your pad stack. If the frame stack is 1cm less you can get there with stems, pad risers or spacers depending on the bike

The bigger question is whether your current fit is the right one and if you want to stick with it or try and improve it.

If you know what direction you think you need to go in, make sure the new bike will allow for it. I personally like a bike with less stack than more. Too little is easier to correct than too much.
