Subject: HIM Taper I have a HIM mid September and I'm trying to plan for my last workouts and taper. Does anyone have solid suggestions for bike/run bricks or goal distances as final big workouts? What about taper plans that have worked best?
So far my furthest bike ride has been 61 miles on the trainer and I think 55 outdoors on the hills. My longest run has been a half marathon race with a handful of 10 and 11 milers. My longest brick has been 35 mile bike/6 mile run. I read somewhere that there wasn't much advantage to bricks (other than killing your running form ), but I am open to suggestions.
