NIce Mr. D!!! Now that you made it over 1000 miles are you gonna stop? hehehe

Thanks Mr. W. I'm sitting at 91.13 miles for the month and did a tempo run after swimming at race pace for a mile in the water. I am feeling springy!

Good luck to you guys with races!!!!!! You are total machines.

88.8 miles for me. Now that I see that I'm close, I'm going to try to make sure I get those 12 miles.

Thanks! I'm at a little over 94 miles now. One more short pickup run tomorrow morning which will probably get me close to 96 miles which I'll be happy with.

Get those 12 miles Pam!

183.63 for the month, didn't make my goal but I'm not too upset.  I feel healthy which is more important.

I had a Marathon on Sunday down in the Quad Cities of Iowa and Illinois, it was hot!  Came in at 3:56:45.  It was a tough race for a lot of people judging that that time got me an overall place of 69/488.  State #4 done! 46 to go!

To bad it's the start of October tomorrow.  I have my longest training run for my 50 miler tomorrow.  34-35 miles.  Going to be fun. Not trying to achieve any land speed records it's about time on my feet.  I am going to finalize my nutrition and either my 13/2 or 18/2 run/walk strategy.

Congratz to all!  Good luck on races!

I got 153-which was weaker than last month--but I got the 100 in. Lots of success in this challenge--congrads to on and all!

Soon after I got married, I decided I needed to get motivated to work out and focus on getting back into shape. I could barely jog a quarter-mile without needing a walk break.

I think quite truly for the first time I 'get it'. It's not just about the fitness. It's not just about the great little endorphin rush as you hit 5, 10, 15 miles...its not just the medal at the end.
