Hey, I am a newbie at triathlons. I just started training 2 weeks ago. I was wondering if 18.40 is a good time for my swim. I am doing the 750 m "Sprint" swim distance. Thanks.

No, it's not, but there will be some others slower. Stick with it and swim as much as you can.

Keep in mind that "good" is relative to your level of fitness. if you have only been swim training for a couple of weeks, that would not be a bad time. when I first started swimming, my first goal was to swim 50 yards in a minute. It took a few weeks to get there. When I hit that goal, I then tried to hit that pace for longer and longer distances. when i first started swimming, it seemed like I would plateau for about 3 weeks and then have a jump in performance. Two weeks is not that much time.

Hell, my first sprint swim time was over 30 minutes.  In my experience 18:40 will beat quite a few people.
