Good morning BT!

4:30am:  :65 minute run: 1 mile WU/1 mile hard w/400 RI/2 miles hard/800RI/2X800m w/400m RI   That was a tough one to start the day with!

5:35am:  :40 minutes lower body strength/core

Karen I'm the same way without something to train for.  After the Xterra I thought 'no more races for a while' but within three weeks I had signed up for a half marathon!  I just love the training so much.

Today should be our last hot day of the season, a storm is moving in tomorrow and things are going to cool waaaay down. Lol, in two weeks I'll be complaining about the cold!

Have a great day!

That run sounds brutal. Yikes!

45 minute easy run here. I actually felt really good (maybe because it's one of the few times in months Ive run when my legs haven't been trashed from hours of hard riding) and I kept adding more and more loops and diversions and I still hadn't hit 45 minutes. Seriously--I think I ran at least a mile more than I normally would during the racing season, in the same time!

About ready to climb the walls. I used all my personal leave to go to Worlds, so basically no major races till June. Might be able to do some short events in Singapore, but they will be rushed weekend trips. NOTHING lines up with our school breaks this year. And when one's final race of the season went the way mine did.....Like being all dressed up and no place to go. I can't even enter races now, as it appears that someone, probably a merchant or the hotel in Australia, did something dishonest or careless with my credit card, or was hacked by someone who did. (Weird charges from Florida on it, while card and I are in Vietnam!) So I have to wait for a new one before I can even enter anything for next year.

Enough griping. I did do 30 minutes of strength stuff for the first time since maybe mid-July. (Since pretty much everything except for a few weeks in August has been taper or recovery from two HIM.) Have the feeling I'm going to be very sore tomorrow!

Send that storm this way, Kim. High of 97 today. Gross.

5:30 - 40' easy run. I was supposed to get a strength session in, too, but didn't have time. Will try and work it in at the office today. Ha.

Have a great day!
