Good afternoon BT!  Happy Turkey Day!

I was scheduled to do a half marathon today but last night decided to skip it.  I had signed up long before our whirl wind trip to Missouri and I just didn't have it in me to pack up the family again and head back out on the road and another night in a hotel.  Instead, I went out for a lovely early morning trail run with my doggies!  Plus a big dinner at home is better than out at a restaurant, which is what we would've done if we went to the half.

Among the blessings I have in my life, I am also thankful for BT and this little daily thread we have going.  I believe it's in its 5th year or so now!  I'm happy to keep starting it as long as people keep posting in it!  I take inspiration from you all!

Oh...thankful for these running buddies too!

Happy Thanksgiving! Those running buddies look very happy to be there. Didn't realize you have three doggies! Or did they bring some buddies along for the ride?

2600m of swimming here. The turkey has to wait for Saturday! They are very expensive here--I think we're paying $15 a head for the dinner. (We bring the side dishes and order the turkey and a few sides from a caterer.) Since it's BYOB, I'm assuming most of that fee's for the turkey. Plus maybe the servers or something. One of my students' parents bought a turkey and she claimed it was $90 USD. We're studying decimals and doing currency conversion problems--she might be right!

I am also very thankful for virtual training buddies--helps keep me accountable, since I don't have any in real life. (There is now one other female triathlete close to my speed in town, but she sleeps too late!)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Did a local turkey trot 5K here at the church this morning and then 45 minutes on the rollers before the big dinner. Great day

Hope everyone enjoyed their day!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I had a quick 2 mile run in the dark tonight. Trying to get used to running in the pitch black again now that the times have changed.

I'm thankful to all of you for posting here even though BT sees little traffic these days. The daily thread always brings me back
