Hey there, everyone! Let's hear what you're doing this weekend.

7:30 - moderate 1 hour ride, with 40' at 70% effort. Tomorrow is the last day of my recovery week, so enjoying this while I can.

Be safe and have a great day!

Good morning friends!

5:00am:  2:30 on the trainer--lots of Z2 & Z3 work

7:30am:  :40 minute run

First big brick in a while and it felt fabulous!

The game yesterday was great...my daughter, Sydney, pitched a perfect game!  So proud and amazed by this child of mine!

Edit...I tried to get the picture the right way but couldn't figure it out, lol!

6:45 - 15 mile bike ride down by the beach. Nice crisp cool air.
7:45 - 2 mile run around the block

Ready to go see my daughter test for her Yellow Belt in Tae Kwon Do, and off to see my son run the 1600 at track meet.

Less than week away for Ironman 70.3 Oceanside. I'm feeling a lot better about the race than I was 2 weeks ago, but still not 100% trained.

Have good weekend BT!

Awesome job on the perfect game, that is absolutely an amazing accomplishment! You two look a lot alike as well.

Interesting workout today for me, 3.5 hours of 45 minutes bike (trainer road) followed by 25 minute run outside. 3 times through so got about a good 2 hrs and 15 minutes on the bike and 75 minutes of run. Coach said have fun with it, and I did. Sure my neighbors were wondering what was going on as they saw me come through with my dog 3 different times over the span of 3 hours.

Have a great Saturday!

Congrats to your daughter! Looks like it is still cold there...

Got up early to do "long" run as it was supposed to be really hot later (it was--LOW was 78!)
6 AM: 80 minute "long" run with 2 X 20 minutes in high Z2.
11:30 AM: 3400m of swimming, various sets (200's, 150's and 100's).

Felt good for the workouts themselves but by 11, it was so hot I thought I was going to puke just walking to the pool. Ditto for a trip to the grocery store later in the day. (Everything is walking or biking distance here, except downtown by taxi; no car or motorbike.) Ugh.

Getting psyched up for a 1:45 trainer ride and 15 minute brick run pretty soon. Back up to the two-hour plus rides next week. (I think I have basically done one of the build phases all over from the beginning after being sick most of February.) Glad my next big race is not until late June!
