Got up early to do "long" run as it was supposed to be really hot later (it was--LOW was 78! )
6 AM: 80 minute "long" run with 2 X 20 minutes in high Z2.
11:30 AM: 3400m of swimming, various sets (200's, 150's and 100's ).
Felt good for the workouts themselves but by 11, it was so hot I thought I was going to puke just walking to the pool. Ditto for a trip to the grocery store later in the day. (Everything is walking or biking distance here, except downtown by taxi; no car or motorbike. ) Ugh.
Getting psyched up for a 1:45 trainer ride and 15 minute brick run pretty soon. Back up to the two-hour plus rides next week. (I think I have basically done one of the build phases all over from the beginning after being sick most of February. ) Glad my next big race is not until late June!
