Tri Mountain Lake

I am a beginner to triathlons and have not done one yet. I have a few friends cheering me on to register and commit this summer. I am in Warren County and found one event close to home. Has anyone done the Tri Mountain Lake triathlon? Any suggestions? Is this a good one for a beginner?
