Subject: 8.18.2017 Fantastic Friday

Good morning BT!

5:00am:  1 hour 45 minute run.  I pass the 12 mile mark 3 minutes faster than last week's long run.  This week's long run felt easier.

Good morning!!!

I intended to go swimming this morning, but after waiting for 15 minutes for someone to arrive and open the pool center, I gave up.

Have the same problem some mornings Robert. Sucks when you get up out of bed and the pool is closed or no lifeguard.


Speed intervals this morning over six miles. The humidity was killing me.

Core and weight training after the run.

Rest day for me. Spending it trying to decide what my short term and long term goals are, as those will strongly influence what I do with my offseason.

Ran Monday and Wednesday...have a 5k tomorrow (that i thought was Sunday) trying to decide if I should run today or not now. ??

I almost always run the day before a race, but never hard, and never for very long (30 minutes tops). I find it helps me stay loose. Good luck in your race.
