Hey BT!  It's Friday!

4:30am:  :35 minutes on the trainer w/8X:20 all out with 10 second rest (tabata) Loved it!

5:15am:  strength training/plyos

Heading to Twin Falls Idaho later this morning for my season's first CC meet! We'll see who put the work in over the summer!!!

Karen I guess the strategy will be super swim, bad a$$ bike, and whatever you can manage for a run!  I don't think I'd be able to pull the plug either.

Have a great day BT! Glad you're on your feet again Robert!

Six miles of speed work on the run. The last mile was tough.

Weight and core training after the run.

Have a great day BT and good luck to anyone racing this weekend.

5:00 AM - I did a memorial run this morning (it always a run day).

A friend from high school that I went to church with and who was on the wrestling team with me had a bunch of friends choose to run for his late wife's birthday.  She was killing in a ski accident in February and was an avid runner and cycling instructor.

One of our high school friends said that she had not run more that 50 meters in a quite a while but was going to run at least 100 meters.  My Wednesday run was 7 miles so I figured I had to do 14 miles to match that effort.

The 14 mile run was the longest run I have done this year. I finished in under 2 hours.

That is pretty much the plan! The run is going to be hilly and very hot (my AG is the LAST wave and starts more than 90 minutes after the pros), so I doubt anyone but the really top finishers will be running very fast anyway.

5:20 AM--1:23 trainer ride (supposed to be 1:30 but cut cool down short as I realized I had no breakfast food in the house and needed to stop en route to work!), mostly Z2 with some short big-gear pickups

No race this weekend but lots of training. I "slept in" till 5:30 (Saturday here) and trying to get going on another "waterlogged day"--long aqua-run plus swim workout. I might dissolve if this keeps up!

6 mile run by the seaside. Did a couple miles on the beach in the sand as I prepare for IM SuperFrog.
