Member 622 Franklin, TN | Subject: RE: 1.5.18 Fantastic Friday! Masters at lunch today (speed focus day)...2200 yards total. After 1600 swim/kick...the speed set went as follows: 4x25 (odds - build, evens - fast) on 40 secs. Odds were 21 sec and evens were 19 secs for me. 3x50 (best average) on 1:30. Plenty of rest so you could go hard. 36-37 secs for each. 50 ez. 50 all out. Coach said I touched in 33. Garmin says I was slower...button pushing slows me down! 150 warm down Going to try to get a 35-40 minute treadmill run in this p.m.

Took the day off as too hung over from the flight back to Saigon (jet lag/no sleep/ swollen feet and legs) to do much but go the the bank, pay rent and some other bills, and unpack. One hour easy run (6 X 10 minutes) on Saturday AM. Felt okay running but I still feel hung over. I have felt better two days after a HIM than this! |
