Happy Birth Day Joel!  And you know what they say about getting older- that just means you're a "more seasoned" athlete!  Have a good one!

Thanks everyone!  I had a pretty good birthday for a thriathlete.  I started with breakfast at Panera then went for a little swim/bike/run, followed by an ice bath and a smoothie.  We just got back from one of the best dinners I've had in a long time. Started with a couple  rolls at our favorite sushi place, then I had calamari, a big filet with garlic mashers, and mango sangria for dinner.  Finished it all off with Cold Stone   I got some really cool gifts too...a couple books (Daniel's Running Formula and Lore of Running) and a gift certificate to my yoga studio.  Now I'm exhausted and full so it's time to crank the AC up and get some quality sleep to let the body recover a bit before I ask it to race hard on Sunday.
