Can someone confirm for me the methodology of the LT running test? Here's what I remember: run 1 mile as warmup, yje miles 2 and 3 at race pace. Average the AHR of miles 2 and 3 and that's your lactate threshhold. is that correct?

It's a timed test.  Warm up then run 30 minutes as fast as you can.  At the 10 minute mark, hit the lap button on your HRM.  Your average HR for the last 20 minutes is LT.

I'm sure somebody will bump up the original thread.
