Good movie! But I like this one ...

I think he means athletic tape, for some reason he thinks coach is going to put him in the game. I can't remember if I have this movie on DVD or not.

Love this line from Remember the Titans -

Coach Boone: You take a look at her. Cause once you step on that bus you aint got your mama no more. You got your brothers on the team and you got your daddy. You know who your daddy is, doncha? Gary, if you want to play on this football team, you answer me when I ask you who is your daddy? Who's your daddy, Gary? Who's your daddy?

Bertier: You.

My favorite movie of all time is Glory. Before I had it on DVD, I wore out 2 VHS tapes because I watched it so many times.

I've had this movie so long that I only have it on VHS....I seriously watch it about 4 or 5 times a year.  Love it :-)

Ok, so I've never seen Remember the Titans... I feel like I'm missing out on something now.

My 3 favorites (can't choose just one) that I can watch over and over are Notting Hill, The Shawshank Redemption, and the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Good stuff!

I'm a huge movie buff (except for the scary ones....) There are so many, I don't have a favorite, but here's a few: The Princess Bride, Legally Blonde (I know, but I love it!), Pirates of the Carribean, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter movies (yes, I've read and love all the books as well!), Indiana Jones movies, Underworld, Italian Job....if I have it on DVD, and can watch it more than once or twice, it's one of my favs.

Anyone going to see The Departed this weekend?

I hate to say this, and I'm probably a communist, but I didn't like Shawshank Redemtion. I was bored out of my mind. Believe me, I've tried watching it, and I keep falling asleep. The same goes with Apollo 13.

Godfather II is high up on my list, but the book was better.

Old Quentin Tarantino movies are some of my favourites, so I'm going to go with Pulp Fiction as my favourite movie, but I've seen Little Miss Sunshine a couple of times and that is definitely on my list of favourites.

"Well, which is it young feller? You want I should freeze or get down on the ground? Mean to say, if'n I freeze, I can't rightly drop. And if'n I drop, I'ma gonna be in motion. You see... "

"Shut up! "

"Okay then. "

and

"What did the pajamas look like?"

"I don't know - they were jammies! They had Yodas and sh!+ on 'em! "

and

" ...and when there was no meat, we ate fowl and when there was no fowl, we ate crawdad and when there was no crawdad to be found, we ate sand. "

"You ate what?"

"We ate sand."
[pause]
"You ate SAND?"

"That's right."

I could go on all day.

I don't have a favorite genre - but here are some of my favs...sorry if they're kind of wacky and maybe eclectic? It kind of depends on what mood I'm in...

1. Hoosiers
2. Ferris Beuller's Day Off
3. Aladdin
4. Goonies
5. The Sandlot

Honorable mention - Shangai Noon
