Comments: I started at the 10+ minute section and ended up having to pass tons of people at the beginning. I did a poor job of understanding the course beforehand. The hills were tough--but I was able to pass many on the hills. Post race
Warm down: Drank 2 bottles of water and stretched out for about 10 minutes. Cheered for Raji and Lachman before heading back home. What limited your ability to perform faster: I had a sinus infection about a week ago and I haven't been training consistently. While I'm happy with my time, I believe that I could have done better. Event comments: Nice race--well organized. Police did an excellent job. Toward the end of the race some crazy driver decided to do a u-turn and drive on the race course! The cops were right there and had the wing-nut do a u-turn immediately. Last updated: 2006-10-23 12:00 AM

(Time is an estimate)
I had oatmeal and Powerbar Endurance for breakfast.
I walked down from our house down to the race course. I got there about 1 1/2 hour early--which is too soon.
I walked around for about 30 minutes to warm-up. About 15 minutes before the 10K (after the 5K heat had left) I ran about 0.2M to warmup.
