Comments:

This wasn't really a race, but more of a ride. I really didn't do very well - I was TIRED! I couldn't believe how I struggled on the hills on this one. I am not really used to not going all out on a ride so maybe the mental thing of it not being timed played a part as to why I couldn't make myself go any faster. I dunno but I have a LOT of work to do this next year!
What would you do differently?:

train. I haven't ridden in a while.

Don't be so hard on yourself. It was actually 68.5 miles by my reckoning and the ride director said he tried to make it a challenging ride, and I think he did a good job of that. You've been running a lot, too, so your legs are tired.

It was just a casual ride for fun, we weren't pushing it at all. I thought you were awesome. With a year to go, you are a lot closer to being ready than you think you are.

Hey, don't forget, this was a learning experience and we discovered the perfect energy food, bananas with Gu chocolate sauce. I'll be having a few of those in PCB.

This should make you feel better, I mapped the route and we climbed more Satuday than any day but Day 3 of the Brag trip. 4.5/5 difficulty rating.
