Subject: Am I crazy?
I am training for my first sprint Sept 26th, is it unrealistic to do another the weekend after that (Oct 3rd)? On top of that there is yet another the weekend after that (Oct 17th) that I'm considering. I am just totally crazy to think that I could do 3 sprints in 3 weeks? I should mention that the one on the 17th is a super sprint. Should I just skip the one on the 3rd? Any advice would be helpful. I think I get a little too motivated for my own good sometimes!

depending how much training you've done.
i think you could do it. sprint is just a nice longish exercise at the end of the week.

If that is something you really want to do and you can afford 3 race fees, Go for it. The sprint races are not that hard on your body and you might as well do it since you will be at the peak of your training.
What sprints are you doing?
Hopefully the race on the 26th is the SoCal BTer's Virtual Triathlon

The 26th is the Las Vegas Sprint, (does that count as the virtual BT The 3rd is the Mission Bay and the 17th is the Reebok Women's Tri. Are you doing the Mission Bay one Madcow?

That would be so cool to meet you guys! I am mostly training at UCSD and the gym (LA Fitness).

Glad to hear Vegas should count, I think there may be another BTer there too!

My Tri club does their Saturday rides from the Starbucks in Del Mar leaving at 8. There are two options a 30 miler to the Carlsbad Starbucks and back or to Oceanside harbor, 40 miles. Most of the time a group of us meet at UTC and get another 16 miles. I will be starting at the Glider port to make it about 50 miles this Sat. You are welcome to join us.
