I posted this in the Ironman training forum but thought it might be a good idea to post here as well: 

Check out the announcement for Rich Strauss's (Crucible Fitness) Ironman Wisconsin training camp to be held July 6-8 in Madison, WI    http://www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?event_id=1400172

I signed up for this camp last year but they had to cancel due to lack of interest.  I plan on attending this year if they hold it, although it does conflict with one of our most popular races on the calendar (Timberman in Grand Rapids,MN).  Rich is very knowledgeable about IM training and coaching and has raced IM WI himself.  He rode motorcycle staff support for the race last year.

Let's get some interest going!

Sounds like a great things!  Scholarships available?

Maybe we should schedule our own training camp weekend and have some of our veteran IMWI racers help with the course ride.....

Just an idea...

I'll be at the July camp but would really be interested in getting together for some rides on the course.

You're not that far away.  We should schedule rides more often than just once in July!  It would be great to have a small entourage.

Let's get out the calendar and do some planning!!
