So to all those waiting for the NYC Half to be announced, I ran the New York Road Runners Manhattan Half this morning and Mary Wittenberg unofficially announced (I say unofficially since it was before the race) that the Nike half will take place on August 5th.  Of course the schedule could change..but a big event like that, I'm sure they're locked into the date.  So keep the date free.

Just thought I'd share.

I worked the race as a detail this morining. You guys were crazy, it was freezing. I just had to stand outside for bag checkin, and then I was sitting in my nice warm PD scooter.

I think you guys were the crazy ones. It was warm after we started running but it looked like every single one of you where there just standing like troopers in that one spot for a few hours. Kudos to you all that made it possible. Thanks for being there.
