Just to clarify--This is at the Mecklenburg Aquatic Center, located on Stonewall Street in uptown Charlotte not the Huntersville Family Fitness and Aquatic Center (home of MAP). The MAC is just off I-277 at the Stonewall Exit.

Wendy and I are planning to be there.  Now that I know its at the MAC and not the HAC I'm not as worried about then my plane lands.  I'm supposed to get in around 3:15 so now I have some leeway for my commute home and getting back uptown.

If for some reason I'm terrible delayed (flying out of Philly makes those MAP gravel hills a look fun) someone please take good notes for me.

Here--I'll summarize.

1. Don't drown--Breathing is good!
2. Wear shoes for the bike and a helmet might be nice too. No Rob, big wheels are not allowed! Give it back to the kids!
3. Take off said helmet and probably change shoes, unless you like to run like a duck
4. and most importantly, SMILE for your picture. You only have one FIRST race

You don't remember green machines?  I had one as a kid and they were great for spinouts!!!  They steer from the back wheels.  These would be a blast for a tri!

I had one of those too.  The best part about them was being able to use those rear wheels to wash out the front wheel of the other kids.  Mine didn't look quite so sleek as that but it's all generally the same.

That thing would really be a bear to fit on the transition racks.
