Perhaps nervous was to strong - just alittle apprehensive sine I have never raced in a pool. On one hand have little fear of drowning. BUT, are their any other rules I should know? For example, I STINK at flip turns - is ther a penalty of they perceive that I am taking my open turns to slow? How much time between swimmers is there?

There's a 10 second delays between each swimmer's start... don't think any penalties are issued because the walls are actually the best pace for people to stop and pass (or be passed).. From what I've read, people do get hung up on the walls... there's a packet of info. to download now on the website.

Also noticed that they're sold out this year - 150 people signed up... For only the second (or third?) year, this is pretty good.

See you there -- this one is just five minutes from my house!
