I did it last year and signed up again....I ride a lot in UVAS canyon and you gotta love that swim....it is a home venue for me just like SJIT...

I've heard there's some good road biking down that way, but I haven't made it any farther south than Stevens Canyon Rd>Redwood Gulch> Hwy 9> Skyline.  Do you have any route recommendations?

You need to make it down to Los Gatos....get on Blossom Hill or Los Gatos Almaden Road and get on Almaden to where you get on McKean road...you pass Calero Reservoir, Cinnabar Golf Club, and then enter Uvas canyon, ride it all the way ou to Watsonville road, you can ride back through Morgan Hill and Santa Teresa road, back to Almaden....about 60 miles or so round trip...

So, spill the beans!  How's the course?  Hilly? Flat?

I'm assuming good organization from J&A - but any tips or stuff that would be good to know if it's your first time at this event?
