Got on bike and into clips at a good pace. Helped to work on this part of the trans

On the first lap my legs hurt, but just needed to warm up.
I felt that I climbed the hills better this time with the new bike.
I have a hard time keeping my cadence up on the hills.

Course should be easy, but I felt bad. My whole body hurt. I have not been about to run because of pain in my hip and lower back. Even at this short distance I did not hurt, but not training with bricks really hurt me.
What would you do differently?:

train with more bricks even if I can mnot run much. Those should be my training runs

Place 5th overall 1min and 30 sec slower than last year. I could not keep up on the run. Yes, I was getting mad about it.
