another one of my WAAAY off tri questions...

any of you have a home security system at your home? if so, what brand? I guess more imporantly, does anyone have a system that they hate and wish they used a different service? if so, what is the brand you don't like? with all the crap going on these days i think it's time to get one installed. another kidnapped/murdered girl, a home invasion in OP today...the world gets nuttier every day. i've been doing research all night and they all are somewhat the same so I figured I see if there were any users out there that could give an unbiased opinion...thanks in advance...tds
