Subject: Saturday AM Ride
If anyone wants to join me Saturday morning I'll be doing a 2 hour ride followed by a 40 minute run.  I'm thinkging that if it's just a couple of us, we could leave from the trail head at Orchard & Parker, ride down Jordan Rd to the 470 trail and then turn around at 60 minutes.  If there's a larger group, we could meet at the entrance to the Aurora Res and head east for an hour before we come back.  Either way, if anyone wants to run afterwards, that'd be great too.

Sorry, gotta swim at the res.  Trying to fix some swim problems I'm having (mainly that I haven't done it enough this year.).  Maybe next time.

Congratulations on the graduation!  I suppose that's a bit more important than getting a bike ride in

Yea probably so....it's funny though, as excited as I am to have friends and family coming into town, I'm a little upset with them for messing up my workout plans!  I really am becoming one of those people! lol

I might join you in a few weeks but I just moved here and havent been able to train in 2 weeks so Im still getting used to the air out here and dont want to hold anybody up. Does anybody know a good easy 20 mile ride I could do? Im trying to ease into this Colorado training slowly...

PS- I live right downtown so I am really looking for something somewhat close but also away from the traffic and people!!

I'd suggest either the Cherry Creek trail which runs parallel to Speer until you get to Colorado Blvd.  Or, you can start at REI and head south on the Santa Fe Trail.  Both trails will have quite a few bikers, runners etc.... though.

I'll see ya out there next time.
