Expert  1006  Kansas City, MO |  Subject: Wheels for Clydesdalesi have just purchased a new Specialized Transition Bike 2007, but it came with the ALX wheels which i would like to upgrade. all of my components are Ultegra. I would like to know what wheels people have found they like out there for tri'ing.... mind you i am a heavier triathlete 195-205 lbs any thoughts, i am moving up to ironman's hopefully next year, so i would like them to be bullet proof as well. thanks, |

Extreme Veteran 438  Surprise, AZ | Subject: RE: Wheels for Clydesdales Hey, nice bike Anyway I am around that 190lb range and 185 during im training but I have a Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheel set for training and Blackwells 100mm for racing. The Mavics are bomb proof and could be used as a racing wheel as well. I had a 35mph wipe out this year on them and not a scratch or flaw on the wheels. |

They aren't a deep dish Aero wheel but I'll be using them for training and racing till I decide to get a dedicated race set. Joshua |

Extreme Veteran 355 Kuna, Idaho | Subject: RE: Wheels for Clydesdales I weigh between 205-215 depending on time of year and I have a set of Spinergy Xaero Lite which I love. Very strong wheels and very little flex and lots of speed. I have had them for 2 years and have not needed any tuning. |

| Master 1728 portland, or | Subject: RE: Wheels for Clydesdales Velocity Deep V built on ultegra hubs with 32 spokes. Affordable and durable as hell. Put a disc cover from wheelbuilder.com on the rear and you have a disc wheel for racing. scott |
