Total Time = 1h 26m 29s
Overall Rank = 193/289
Age Group = 30 to 34
Age Group Rank = 14/17
Pre-race routine:

AVIOD MILK! protein shake, lots of hydration for the hot temps.
Event warmup:

Lots of fully body stretching. Saturday I got a 10 minute massage to work the knots out of my back. That made a world of difference.
Swim
  • 14m 40s
  • 750 meters
  • 01m 58s / 100 meters
Comments:

Fair swim for me. I alway swim a bit slower in a serpintine due to the passing aspect. Once the "sandbagger" in our group blew us all out of the water I was able to settle down for a decent swim and a long run to the T1.
What would you do differently?:

Swim more!
Transition 1
  • 02m 31s
Comments:

Guestimate time, not official.

Best T1 to date. I concentrated on having good transitions this race. Maybe someday i'll learn to put them all together!
What would you do differently?:

Great T1
Bike
  • 34m 1s
  • 12 miles
  • 21.17 mile/hr
Comments:

Great ride. I had a blast on this ride. I've been doing single leg excersizes on the trainer and wow what a difference! Got to do more of those painful little gems.
What would you do differently?:

Ride More!
Transition 2
  • 01m 30s
Comments:

Great T2. The new Adamo seat has a hook on the back that really helped out for the racking. I stepped on two Gu packs and they splattered all my stuff. I have a great mess to clean up later.
What would you do differently?:

Watch my step!
Run
  • 32m 40s
  • 3.1 miles
  • 10m 32s  min/mile
Comments:

Hard HOT run. Did I mention it was HOT? The temp was 94Deg F at 0845! Another typical tri-run for me. At least it was only the 3.1 mile as the cramps were coming on strong at the end.
What would you do differently?:

Run MORE.
Post race
Warm down:

Lots of walking to ease the cramps.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

HEAT

Event comments:

They didn't have the massage tables for this race like the last one! It was nice to have a little easier competition than the March race. I finished solid MOP overall.

Sounds like you had a solid race!!!  Nice times all around, and transitions went great as well!  .....minus the gu splats! Ick!  Sorry it was so hot...but that was to be expected. Sounds like it's all coming together for you and you are becoming one with the sprint! :-)
