Yep, I'll be there... doing this one as a relay, though (I'm still not running yet, also due to Achillies issues). I am going to swim, my boyfriend Dave is going to bike, and Danny (kcguy) is going to run. It's going to be fun x3!

I am going to do this one. Jackson Co. was a great race. I know we all talked about meeting up or getting together but things got a little crazy and it never happened. Many of you I have yet to meet. With this being the last race of the season we should try to meet up on packet pickup at Bike Source or at least before the race. Also I am thinking about doing the Half KC Marathon just so I know what 13.1 miles feels like for a Half Ironman is anybody else thinking about it.

Also can someody give me some insight on Midwest Meltdown vs. Midwest Mayhem bike course. Is it easier? I am still in theorapy and suffering frm Post Tramatic Stress Disorder from the Mayhem bike course?

You will thank courses like that when you can beat people up hills. Anyone can ride on the flat but if you can beat people up hills you can pass them and never see them again. And of course... the best way to get better at hills... find a bunch and ride them over and over and over and... I think you get the idea.

Oh well, a perfect storm of events have decided for me that I shall not be participating in Meltdown. I had wanted too, but that is fine. I won't be in KS next tri season, but if you are going to "tri" in the northwest give a hollar!

I had some questions about the Midwest Meltdown. I was wondering when do spectators need to get there and where do they park? Also, where do participants park?

I am down for the last meet up of the season somewhere. Perhaps a big lunch afterwards or coffee the night before somewhere close to Bikesource. I am getting my goodie bag around 3:30. Just name it.

I'll be there bright and early tomorrow. Tri #2 for me, hoping I've continued to improve in the two weeks since Jackson County. The increased distances might pose a challenge, but I'm keeping my goals simple - finish.

Those race results must have really gotten fubared. Not that I did much better in that department, left my Garmin on the bike at T2.

Hope everyone had a good race!
