Pet spider kills owner...and then things get *REALLY* gross

Just for the record when I was working as a medic I got sent to a womans apartment on New Years (or somewhere around there) for a well party check... since she hadn't been seen of heard from since Christmas.  Now this is an apartment/condo complex.  I got within 100 feet of the door and was like woahhhhhhhhhh.  I had a hard time believing that her neighbors living 10 feet away didn't even bother to call the cops before this.  Think of the worst thing you have ever smelled and multiply that by about 100.  So I'm looking at the cop and shes looking at me like ummm do we have to?  I was like I can pronounce this lady from here but rules are rules.  So I walked in figuring I can handle anything for 2 minutes.  I walked in and wasn't breathing through my nose but the stench was so horrible I immediately started gagging so out I went to hang over the railing but I was going to be tough so my partner and I formulated a plan.  We drove to a gas station (time was not of the essence) and bought a container of vicks vapo rub.  The attendant is asking me what's this for and I was saying ... you do NOT want to know.  So I shove it up my nose, coat the inside of my mask and prepare to wrap this up.  Back in we go.  I am thinking wow it's pretty minty not so bad.... wretchhhhhhhhhhhhh... ok better hurry it up the vapo rub isn't cutting it.  She is laying in the bathroom which is at the end of the apartment down the hall but I see snowboots.  I go down to the bathroom and the walls are covered with feces which frankly compared to everything else wasn't all that bad.  The rest of the apartment was immaculate so I would say it was a bad scene.   I assume that she's way past rigor so just to check I nudge her leg which is sticking slightly into the door frame... maggots start pouring out of her and I notice she is laying in a pool of her rotting fluids which was a greenish yellow filling up the bathroom (since it was set down about an inch) and think... I pity whoever lives below her.  We escape wretching and hacking to the outdoors.  We then drive quickly to the CVS and buy Febreze and Adidas cologne and just hose ourselves down but the smell doesn't go away.  My friend comes up to me and says "Thank God she didn't have a cat".  I go home and have to strip outside because those clothes cannot come in with me.   Now I think to myself ... Thank God she didn't collect snakes and poisonous animals... I feel truly sorry for those guys dragging that bag...

I don't really know and I wasn't there long enough to get all Perry Mason on it.  She was in the bathroom... ohhh things probably went realllllly bad...  I can't be 100% since I wasn't testing it and constantly dryheaving but based on the location I went with it.
