Champion  11641      Fairport, NY |  Subject: Finger Lakes Triathlon - Olympic Distance2.5 weeks to go! jamjam and I are hosting a pre-race dinner again this year at our home on Saturday, Sept. 22. We're in Fairport which is about a 30 minute drive from the race site. We'll be serving whole wheat pasta, chicken breasts, salad and Gatorade Endurance. If you're doing the race, or even just in the area, we'd love to have you. Bring your family, come hang with some BT'ers and end the season on a high note. Just give us a heads up with how many people you expect to bring and if you have any specific dietary requirements. I promise to put the chicken on the grill at a reasonable hour this year. |

Champion 11641 Fairport, NY | Subject: RE: Finger Lakes Triathlon - Olympic Distance Matt, I figure people will start to show up at 4, we'll start to eat at 5-5:30 or so. I expect people will be here until 8, but there's no set end time. The bike course isn't too hard. The first 6 miles is climbing with one hill that makes you work. After that it's pretty much rolling. The nice part is the 1.5 mile downhill followed by flat ground at the end. The course sets you up nicely to run off the bike. The run course is flat. Completely, utterly flat. |

I wish I could make it, but we will be visiting with my kid over at RIT. Really looking forward to a great race, and it looks like the weather will be good, too.
