I'm in the process of turning one of our spare bedrooms into a cycling storage/training/workout room. I'm gonna strip the wallpaper paint the walls, put some hooks in the wall and hang all our bikes and keep an open spot for my future Tri bike (probbaly atleast another year tho). set up some rubber mats for my new rollers that I just picked up today and a spot for the treadmill that's getting delivered tonight, set up my weight bench if there is still room left and have a little bench for small cycling repairs. Oh and I'm gonna mount a 20" tv and dvd player, and stereo in the corner to watch/listen while i'm on said rollers or treadmill.

I'd just like to see some pix of everyone elses training rooms/shops if they have them to get some ideas and just to see them.

thanks
Pete

Good idea! My training area is in shambles since moving and since I'm still determined to train outside.

Nice, I can't wait to get mine done, unfortuantley removing wallpaper takes a little time. Any suggestions on paint a colour that will keep me enrgetic on those long boring training rides/runs?

Well it is not pretty, big, tall, or realy anything at all, but it is perminently set up with a TV, VCR/DVD player, CD/tape/radio, and computer that can be typed on while on the "drainer". Can spend hours down there in the basement with realtive comfort as long as I do not hit my head on the beams. I would strongly recomend fans if not an a/c and dehumidifyer if you can set it up. Nothing quite like stale air in a workout room. Not sure what to do in the winter except close the doors with a lot of fabreeze

I rend and don't have a spare bedroom, but in the basement of the fourplex is a room that one of my neighbors used to use as a pottery studio. He has moved now and the room is empty. I've been planning on putting rollers or a trainer there when it gets really cold.
