Way to go of breaking 6 hours, that will probably be the same boat I'm in next year. Hopefully Muncie in July will give me a better idea.

This race may be on my hit list for next year, still trying to decide, between it and Muskoka 70.3 or an HFP race in Ohio the following weekend.

Did it seemed organized, were there plenty of aid stations, any good or bad points on how the race was setup, etc?

Thanks
Steve

Thanks for the words of encouragement. All in all it was a good race and well organized. It is a small field (130 people in the HIM) so it is a great one for a beginner. It is a boring race unless of course you enjoy staring at miles and miles of corn fields. Aid stations were great. Every 17 miles on the bike and every mile on the run. The only thing I didn't like about it was that race packet pickup, hotels, and the course are nowhere near each other and it's easy to get lost. All in all though, well done event.

Best of luck in your training and your future events.

Thanks for the info Gary. I figured there would be a lot of corn to look at, assume the same thing could happen at the Toyota Challenge this coming weekend in Ohio, that's why I was considering the Muskoka, so at least I could enjoy the scenery, but worry that course may kick my behind.
