Well, the prom date from hell costume is essentially a zombie (get it - dead? hell?) It's a big orange prom style dress that's rather shredded and has some cobwebs and spiders and such attached, and then I do the full-on zombie makeup. Of course, the full on zombie make up means I'm gonna have to get up super early, and the dress has some trippage potential. So, that's why I was thinking about going the easy cow costume route. So much to think about.

I am going to try to do 8:30 or 9ish on the 5k. Depends, on how fast I want to get to beer. I will probably show up around 8ish or so, maybe slightly earlier. I will keep an eye out for the ever famously tall TriDDS at the enterance to the War Memorial.

Did you see "28 Days Later" or the sequel? Zombie speed is now about 3 min./miles.

Our plan is to arrive around 8ish, get the packet/chips and then attempt to make contact with BT peeps.

If you see a balding 6-6" guy sheepishly looking around for Bt'ers, that's me and my wife.

I have done this race the past several years! It's great. Travis and I will be doing the 5K this year. Get to the beer quicker that way. Race morning everyone hangs out inside the War Memorial to stay warm and use the pottys. So can we meet inside by the entrance? Either that, or I can wave to you all through the window.

Can't wait to see everyone's costumes! I unfortunately didn't plan for a costume and don't have any ideas. Ideas welcome....

Just a warning to everyone planning to run easy on Saturday. I'm going to a Chili Cookoff on Friday night and tonight I'm making up a batch of my "Bowl Blaster Special Recipe".

You will not want to be behind me on Saturday. You don't have to run fast. But you do have to run faster than me for 15K. Keep that in mind as you consider your costume choices.
