I was planning on running sub 6's, but the costume will slow me down to 11-12 minute miles.

mr2tony - 2007-10-25 5:54 PM I may make it up to Milwaukee this weekend to run and hang with you all, if that's cool. I know I've met some of you before but this will be a good chance to meet more.

TONY!!!  I suppose it would be okay to let a FIB up here for the weekend.  We could reminisce about Elkhart!

Well I have ditched the Supergirl costume- they do NOT make costumes for girls over 5'6"... WTF?? I am going to be a Referee AND I have a whistle

I am planning on running sub 8s if anyone wants to run with me (TRYING I said). Is someone bringing a camera???

See you donks Sat

No, they don't make costumes for girls over 5'6"...I can make any Halloween costume indecent just by the shear fact that most of them don't go to mid thigh...

I was going to try to remember to bring my camera...there's gonna be too many peeps there to not...

Okay, I've finally made a costume decision. I'm going to be a bee. Now, you COULD think that I'm going all girly on ya and being a honey bee or a bumble bee. But, in truth, I'm an Africanized Killer Bee, and if you don't run faster than m, I'm gonna sting you. Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Well, lets see....there is gonna be about 15 of us, one is 6'8 another 6'7, there will be a big Zima bottle.  If you see another group like that OR simply cant find a donkey, give a loud EEEEAAAAWWWW.  Its sad but it is a great way to get the attention of another Donk.  I live by TriDDS and we routinely get random EEEEAAAWWWs from one another when seeing one work out as the other is driving around.

Don’t know that it would help since I’m also trying to find the donks , but I could sport either the urban running sombrero or the 25 gallon foam cowboy hat to distinguish myself from the crowd. (that's me in the cowboy hat next to my dad and brother at the 06 Buffett concert)

I need thoughts on which costume to go with if you would.  Write up of pros/cons and paces of each are in my blog.  I suppose my lazy arse could paste em here too.  Hmmm.  As far as parking, there should be enough in the O Donnell lot or south of the US Bank tower tomorrow.  When you take 794 to Lake Drive you will take a left on Michigan at the lights?  Actually, you could park closer to the bar too if you dont mind walking a bit before hand.

I second the psycho rodeo clown vote espically if you could get ahead of the pack and then run against the pack trying to dodge "bulls".

My options for tomorrow:

viking: vision is limited, heavy costume, good head coverage in the rain but novelty will probably wear out mile three with 6 to go.  Anticipated pace: 9:30-10:30 (eats into beer time but great social pace).  Would be epic though!

zombie:  lighter weight, mask has poor visibility, but creepy.  Probably same pace based on lack of vision

werewolf:  cool mask, rubber werewolf hands, feet and teets but limited vision.  Mask has hole for drinking straw!  Pace: 10-12 to breaking face on pavement

frankenstein: mask has good vision but kinda boring costume maybe. 9's?

devil mask: freaky, goofy, just a mask which could lead to other accessories and stuff.  Probably 8:30s to 9's in this

psycho rodeo clown:  good vision, hole for drinking straw, flashy and folks generally dont like creepy clowns!  I cant find the rodeo hat so would have to come up with something else.  Might actually be able to pull 7:30s or 8's in it!

predator: bad vision, ugly mask but sci fi option.
