All I ask is shipping costs.

If you do have anything you would like to pass, I would love to have it. I'm brand new to the sport and just started training a month ago. Anything would be a big help. I'll make sure to pay it forward.

Would love to help a newbie with some threads for training//racing. Send me a PM with your address and why you're getting into triathlon. What motivates you...? Everything seen in the picture is men's small. I'm happy to package and pay shipping within the lower 48.

2016 Great Floridian Ultra Distance (140.6) entry available. This is my hometown race. Every year I buy a GFT entry for next year at the big discount offered race weekend. Some years I have raced, others I traded to a shorter distance as I had plans to race long later in the year. For 2016 I will be in Wilmington for the B2B IM. This means you get a chance to race the oldest independent ultra- (140.6) distance triathlon in the US for cheap - current entry fee is $375. See the website www.greatfloridian.com for race details.
    Fine print:
    1. Yes, the entries are transferable. I will notify the race organizer and authorize the transfer.
    2. You pay the $60 transfer fee to the race organizer and get to race a full distance triathlon for 60 bucks.
    3. You are seriously planning to train and participate..
    4. You are willing to write a race report.
    5. If you find you are unable to participate, you agree to pass the entry along.

I hope this helps someone make a commitment to come race in Clermont and support one of the last independent races at this distance.

For the ladies, I have (2) Pearl Izumi cycling jerseys, size large..  I wore them only a few times when I was training and racing.  They are slightly used and just washed..  PM me with the necessary info if you are interested..

    Hi Lori,

I am literally just beginning my triathlon journey. My1st triathlon is June 4th and I'm terrified but excited at the same time. I turned 39 last month and am determined to complete my first triathlon before I'm 40. I'm a working mom with 3 kids and 3 jobs and am not only pressed to find time for myself but am also extremely financially limited. I received nice running shoes for Christmas but I don't have any other gear or even a bike for that matter. I live in MN so I don't have to worry about riding outside quite yet. I have a gym membership (for my health as well as my sanity ) so I can at least use the equipment and pool at the club until everything thaws. I'm hoping to find a bike I could borrow from someone in my area or worst case scenario, find somewhere where I can rent one for a couple months that won't cost me an arm and a leg. I found out I can rent a wetsuit online for about $45 but with that and the $80 registration fee, I'm already feeling extremely guilty spending that kind of money on myself.

So if you or anyone else out there has anything they want to get rid of, please send it my way. If you have any suggestions on where I could find used equipment online or some penny saver pointers for triathlons (if there is such a thing) I'm all ears.

Have a great evening and thanks for any help!

    - Heather

    1. Older ProMotion sleeveless wetsuit. No size indicated. It was a bit long on me at 5'9' so I am guessing someone 5'10" and up would do well. I wear mostly M to L in stuff and this was right in that target range too.

    2. Medium Zoot Tri Top......darn near new, just fits more like a small.

    3. Veloz M bike jersey.

Send me a PM if interested.....just asking to cover shipping.

Hello Heather and welcome to the wonderful world of triathlon...  First, I would introduce yourself on the Minnesota state forum..  Go to Forums and at the very bottom, click on US State Forums..  Then your home state..  If you post this same question, you will hopefully receive lots of local advice and information.  I am still looking thru my old stuff and if I find something that will work, I can send it to you...  Feel free to PM me with an address..  I applaud you for your dedication and "true grit".   I have added you as a "friend" and will pop in on occasion and see how you are doing...

    Good Luck!!

    Lori

Performance brand, size medium. Three pockets, one lined for electronics, with a hole for earphones. Lightly used, just a bit too small for me.

I only ask that you pay shipping ($6.80). I would prefer to send both to the same place, but it's not necessary.

    Subject: TYR race suit
I have this TYR race suit. Never worn. I removed the tags to try it on because they were inserted through the zipper. At the time, it was very tight but I thought I could make it work. Tried it on again and I'm sure it shrunk (yeah, right) because it felt even tighter. It then got banished to my plastic bin of old cycling clothes.
Here's the thing, it's a very strange fit. I would say it fits like a Medium but is quite long in the legs. So it would ideally fit a tall thin person. I'm 5'10" 175lbs and, as I said, it is too tight on me.
Because it's been sitting for so long, the reflective strips have decomposed a bit. (they are kind of a rubber material and when the suit is stretched, they don't want to stretch very much). Otherwise, it's just been sitting and waiting for someone to wear it.
Rear zipper if that is an issue to anyone.
Free for the taking if you pay shipping. $6.45 will do flat rate anywhere in the US.

I don't check in here much so drop me a note at [email protected].
