Swim
Comments: No wet suit, no swim training, lousy drafting all equals a pretty slow swim. Transition 1
Bike
Comments: Not a bad ride, all things considered. I was actually averaging 20 mph for the first 50 miles. The last 6 (I think it was actually 7) had some significant hills that slowed me down a lot. It was good seeing Carey (my wife) on the last hill. She was playing El Diablo and had a cape, horns, pitchfork, and had covered herself in red body paint. Apparently, she had a good time out there. Power was only 152 watts for the ride. Transition 2
Run
Comments: This was a disaster. No bike rides over 40 miles all summer and not a whole lot of run training makes this tough. I was pretty much relying on my base from IMAZ to get me through this. Post race
Event comments: Awesome race. I'll be at Lonestar and then back for this next year. Keith is awesome. Last updated: 2006-12-02 12:00 AM
