Pre-race routine:

Didn't have many choices, so had crappy McDonalds on the way to the race. Bleh.
Event warmup:

Didn't do much, just jogged a few minutes and tried to stretch a little.

This course is never easy, but the humid and warm weather today made it pretty brutal.
What would you do differently?:

Not much. Pacing was pretty good.

Warm down:

Waited for some co-workers to finish up and drank a lot of water.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Heat (72 at the start), humidity (over 90%), too much food at Plucker's last night, and a lousy breakfast. Still relatively happy with my time, though.

Pluckers AND McDonalds right before the Decker???? That's what I call intentionally self-inflicted pain! Considering you were carrying that with you, you had a pretty damn good run. Weather always seems to be a factor at Decker one way or another - one year hot and humid, the next low 30's & sleet.

You doing the series leading up the the marathon?
