Can I really do a marathon?

Continuous swim. Longest I've done. Wanted to see if it was even reasonable to consider TexasMan Olympic. I didn't calculate how far 1.2 miles was in yards, so I made sure I went far enough. It turns out that 2112 yards equals 1.2 miles. I did 21 laps in 46:18. That is a 2:25 pace/100 meters for reference. Clearly not my best speed, but I knew I was going slower to stay comfortable the whole time. My stroke count was high as well, but my triceps hurt at the end as it was. I am not sure I could have pushed harder.

Tried to do an easy spin exercise, but my heart wasn't in it. I cut it short.
Ran a pacing track exercise with Fit2Train this morning. I was meeting Gerald who I have seen at races and the LISD pool to see if I want to hire him as a running coach. He offered to watch me at the track session he coaches. It was an early start after yesterday's early swim, but it was amazing how good I felt on the drive into work. I seemed full of energy! It was also soooo nice to not be running in the heat. I am going to have to re-think my exercise juggle with David!
