Can I really do a marathon?

Couldn't reach Katie, so I ran by myself. Ran to Katie's house and back. Tried out my new NEWTON shoes! They felt slightly odd at first .3 miles or so, but not as noticeable after that. I was very conscious of them and tried to make sure I ran naturally and not modify more than the shoes intended. I noticed from the splits that my cadence has not gone up (yet), but my stride did shorten as I am landing more on the forefoot. I am interested to see if the cadence will now go up.
I ran quickly to test the shoes properly, but my muscles still felt fatigued from the weekend. The butt muscles were noticeable about mile 2.5. Hopefully, I will be better by Thursday.
There was no wind at all, and temp was 78*, so I felt very hot and tired at the end. Only 2:10 above endurance pace, with pretty good splits:
Lap Pace Max Avg Cad Stride
1 10:34 161 149 84 2'7
2 10:26 170 162 85 2'7
3 10:19 174 170 85 2'8
4 10:11 176 170 85 2'9
Cadence avg: 85/max 86
footpod measured long this time. It said .90 for every real mile.

My furthest run to-date. It was 17 with Katie. We picked up Liz 2 miles in, and Shannon around mile 11. Liz wanted to do a 2 mile run and 1 minute walk program, and we agreed. It felt like we were moving along at a quicker pace in between, though, and that kept my HR higher than I wanted for today's run. We ended up with the same pace overall as other weekends, but it felt so much harder.
I think the yard work from yesterday as well as the low calorie day I had yesterday affected me even more. I got weaker as we went and was falling behind regularly. The last 3 miles were particularly tough, and I let the others run on during the last mile while I took an extra walk break. I did carry Gatorade, 2 gus, and loads of water with refills, but it wasn't enough to compensate.
At the end of the run, my legs could hardly keep me walking. The butt and quad muscles just wanted to collapse. I took the ice bath, but I am still suffering late in the day.

Run with Ryan in the stroller. Targeted to end at the duck pond, so we would around the north loop, adding the section to Ridgeview to get the distance. It felt hot and pathetically slow.
1 11:50 168 157 82 2'8
2 11:56 174 167 83 2'8
3 11:51 178 173 83 2'8
4 12:17 182 178 82 2'7
Cadence Avg: a slow 83. notice the short stride as well with the stroller!

Ran with Katie for 8 miles from Jack Carter pool. It seemed hot and hard, but we ran slower than last week. Our breathing was more labored, but we were able to maintain a constant pace. My HR was clearly above desirable after 3 miles, though. HRM stopped working in the 5th mile, though, much like Tuesday. I don't understand that!

Didn't use footpod, so no cadence.
