First run in fresh Adidas shoes. Nice!
Ran with Katie on the Chisholm-Russel Creek route similar to last week, but we didn't make any wrong turns this time.
I felt great at 13 miles, and even felt 10 more were possible at 16. I started to feel more tired at 17, and the last two were a little tough mentally, but I made it all right. My legs were a little wobbly at the end, and I don't think they had much left in them.
Katie had some asthma issues as her medication ran out, but she did great until mile 17. She walked a little more than I did on the last mile, but she was a trooper. My last last mile was noticably harder without her!
I did another instand breakfast drink, ice bath, and builder bar for recovery. It seems to be working as I am feeling the beset of these last three long runs.
HRM stopped working halfway through. :-( Left footpod calibration from last shoe, but now it measures off in the other direction. I should go back to 0.00 I guess. I think the stride measured short as well because of that???
