Started in Torrelaguna, up to the road above the reservoir at El Atazar.  Caught by rain on the descent over the other side, made for some interesting corners.  I don't have non-prescription glasses with me this trip, and needed them badly today.  I rode through it though, and the rain was brief.  Descended back to town cautiously on wet roads.

Rode with Mario from the outskirts of Madrid (Colmenar Viejo) to Miraflores.  Part on the bike path, which is a good one but I still don't enjoy it much.  Too much bike traffic, blind curves you can't take at speed, that sort of thing.  From Soto del Real we took the road up to Miraflores, around to Guadalix de la Sierra (nice road and descent!) and back up over the foothills to the bike path, then down into town.

I took it easy for Mario's sake; he's not riding like we ride and it showed.  A couple of hard efforts up short climbs, that was it.

Up from Alameda de la Torres to Campo Real, out along the top of the mesa and back, then down the descent into Alameda.  Heavy thunderstorms sweeping all around me but somehow I missed them all.  Returned to to the car just in time to hear lightning crack and the rain started there.

I like the first climb straight out of Alameda; I took it relatively easy today and here are the numbers.

Loop from near Loeches, to Pozuela del Rey, to Torres de la Alameda, back to the car.  Only got power data for the first 14 miles as I got off the bike with the computer in my back pocket at Pozuelo and got a drink, never synced the PT head afterwards..

Felt good, light rain to start but cleared at the end.
