The loop is one time around the block is .36 mile. I ran the first .26 of the loop and then walked the remainder. Brook was with me.
The splits are as follows:

2:00, 1:34
1:56, 1:35
1:58, 3:39
1:59, 1:27
2:05, 2:20
1:58, 3:30

the 3:39 walking leg had a detour to the house to get a waterbottle and remove arm warmers. The 2:20 walking leg included a pause to drink some water and share it with the dog.

On the 2:05 run leg I dropped the leash and had to pause to retrieve it.

Brook is a great running partner, but a little out of shape. He needed a bit of encouragement towards the end to keep up the pace.

The second post is set and a bunch more pavers have been placed.

The posts are 4"x4"x 10' and weigh about 45 lbs each. Two are now set 18 inches deep with 120lbs of concrete setting around them. There is 4+ inches of gravel/rock under each post to provide a little drainage.

ummm, I no longer need to wear a belt.  Ack!

I need to decide whether I am going to set the third post or the put up the first set of joists...
I think that I will put up the joists.  Besides, I need to buy a couple more bags of concrete before I can set another post.
